Open air festival for music, dance, theatre & illustration. Under the title "a-hoi - Kunsthafen Vaduz", the area between the Government Building and the National Archives will become a pop-up art harbor with a stage and catering containers. We are creating a place for new myths and utopias, where sailors' yarns can be spun. The encounter between artist and audience is in the foreground, the medium is "improvisational art".
As a representative of the canton of St.Gallen, I will take part in this exciting and inspiring meeting of artists!!

In the middle of the English park of 1860, seven dancers and a musician let the memories and dreams of the visitors go on a journey. The audience can move around the castle park and linger at the individual interventions as they please. During two hours you can come when you want and stay as long as you like.
The poetic dance-sound-pictures are solo performances and create an atmosphere that is nourished by the magic of dreams and memories.

Driven by the motive: "I claim for Stillness as an ac of rebellion, as my inner savagery" the Associated Artist Elenita Queiróz develops its new creation in the frame of TanzPlan Ost 2021/2022. The project includes the creation of a new dance piece (premier 13th October 2022) as well as several activities in dialogue with local people and artists. The whole program was carefully thought to open space for reflection regarding women exhaustion and expectations, engage encounters and embrace diversity.

Kollektiv Winkel presents the second part of the three-part experimental series in the UG of the Luzerner Theater: FROM NOW TO UTOPIA.
The second part deals with the moment between the NOW and the UTOPIA, with the changings. For this evening, a spotlight is placed on bodies in transition. The Winkel collective invites three actors to jointly spread out a mosaic of their perceptions, experiences and realities.
With the musician Riccarda Naef, the dancer and choerographer Elenita Queiroz and the architect and photographer Tino Gutsch meet.

Imagine that at each 48“ you must to move...
With the age of 37 years old, the performer and contemporary dancer Elenita Queiroz – master student at HKB - realized that she had lived in so many places that, while transforming her age in minutes she found out that every 48 seconds she moved.
Based on this experience, on December 9th, she will travel through different cities of Switzerland showing her road trip performance 48“ 1 day long, which will include St. Gallen, Basel, Bern, Zurich and Winterthur.
Each performance takes 48 seconds long and they will serve to create a teaser and a video dance to promote her dance piece named 48”, which premiere will be held in February 2018 in Bern and St.Gallen. She travels accompanied by a group of talented artists: Kim Schläpfer - videoartist, Mischa Herzog – photographer and Alena Kundela – art assistant.

This course offers an intensive work based on the fusion of Afro Brazilian Dances with Folk Brazilian Dances and contemporary estyles as such funk and reggaeton. This time, we will give especial attention to the repetition and development of phrases of movement exploring the variation of rhythm, intensity and amplitude. What is contemporary dance?
Contemporary Dance was developed in the early 20th century as a reaction against the rigid techniques of ballet and nowadays it includes a range of techniques and styles. Pioneers such as Isadora Duncan and Martha Graham searched for ease of movement using the body’s natural lines and energy, allowing a greater range of fluidity of movement than conventional dance techniques. Contemporary Dance is characterized by its versatility: contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. At the same time, the ease of movement promoted by contemporary dance technique allows experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.

The workshop is inspired by the Afro-Brazilian Dance as well as the Brazilian Folk Dance and proposes a contemporary, light and fun approach to the basic elements that constitute this dance. The practice is structured in the development of movement phrases that arise from the connection between hips, feet and the spiral lines that run through the body. The goal is to bring up and to explore the energy and the flow of the body movements.

The classes are based on the energy of the Brazilian Beat and explore it, mixing Afro Brazilian Dance and Brazilian Folk Dance. EXPERIENCE THE BEAT OF BRAZILIAN DANCE
Introductory workshop with Elenita Queiróz (Brasil)
This workshop aims to share the basic elements of the body movements from Brazilian
dances. The body work is focused on the perception of the relationship between feet and hip, as well as the spirals and circular lines that run through the body. These elements act as the basis
for the development of improvisation and choreographic phrases that we will play with. Be prepared for good Brazilian flavor, vivid rhythms and a lot of fun!
